The fossil presentation at the Thursday, October 5th meeting was a great success with beautiful ammonites presented by Helen Albright and good information on their locations and quality.
Roice Nelson brought an excellent selection of varied fossils to share as did Theron Roberts and Wally Curtis and others. All in all, it was a fun and informative evening.
Several club members got up early to meet Wally and Corrin Curtis at Topaz Mt to hunt for Red Beryl. Unfortunately, the claim is now reactivated as a fee to dig. Jana and I had to leave but Wally was phoning to get permission for the rest of the group to do a fee dig as we left. Hope they were successful. Undoubtedly, we will hear about their adventure at the next meeting, if not sooner.
Theron has a trip planned for October 14th and will post information on meeting place and destination soon, so save the date.
