Tailgate Event Contract & Rules


  September 23, 2017 – Cal Ranch Parking Lot


The Host agrees to furnish booth space at the annual show September 23, 2017 in Cedar City, Utah for the sole purpose of offering to the public a variety of items pertaining to the Lapidary Arts and Earth Sciences.

Booth space may be purchased by members in good standing for $20.00 per 8 x20 ft. space. Non-members may purchase booth space for $30.00. The Dealer agrees to pay all taxes imposed by Cedar City and the State of Utah. The Dealer understands a Cedar City business license fee is included in the space fee and completed City forms provided by Host will be required prior to set-up.

No electricity is available, other than to the Host booth.  Spaces will be assigned on a first come-first serve basis the morning of the show.  Check-in Begins at 7 AM. Set-up is 7 Am – 9 Am  The show starts at 9 AM and continues until 6 PM the same day.  No early outs are allowed.

The Dealer may not assign, sublet or share any part of the allotted space without prior written approval from the Host.

The Dealer agrees to have his or her space set up prior to the opening of the show at 9 a.m. on September 23, 2017 and agrees not to dismantle or begin tearing down prior to 6 p.m. September 23, 2017. All equipment must be removed from Cal Ranch Property by 8 p.m. on September 23, 2017. The show hours are 9 to 6 Saturday.

No Dealers except those having purchased commercial space at the show will be allowed to sell on the premises.

It is understood that this agreement provides for the furnishing of commercial space at the show and does not create a “partnership” or joint venture between the Host and the Dealer. The Host shall not be responsible for any act or omission by the Dealer, their employees or their agents, or for any obligation or liability of the Dealer. The Dealer agrees to hold the Host harmless for any and all claims or demands resulting from operations conducted by the Dealer in connection with this agreement.

I certify that the information given on this application is true and correct. I hereby release and hold harmless the Southern Utah Rock Club, Inc./Cedar City/Cal Ranch or any Event Sponsor from any and all liability or claims as a result of my participation in the Show including but not limited to theft, personal injury, strike, public enemy or act of God.

I acknowledge that failure to comply with the above may cause forfeiture of any or all fees I have paid, immediate expulsion from the Festival and possible legal action against me.
